Ciao a tutti!
Enrico, purtroppo è esattamente come hai detto tu. L'operazione avvenuta lo scorso inverno non è stata quella di una redistribuzione bands for income taxes, but a real increase: and it is the latter that has been redistributed, making it weigh more or less on high incomes and (almost) anything for the bass.
see how students have done so to inform the most important channel through which we have available, ie meeting centered on the issue of taxes, advertised by posters in all the boards out of the conservatory and facebook - as an event , email, messages etc on the boards of representatives. - (It is not institutional but reaches many students), in which the director had made available to listen and respond to those who may had intervened. You know how many people have submitted? Zero ... we were the only representatives and the director! We made another short time later, the same issue, trying different from the previous day and time, achieving a better result but certainly not comforting: we were ten ...
Email is unsuitable for problems related to privacy, but not without difficulty, we are trying to think of institutional solutions to resolve the issue, for example by adding the entry forms a part which can be used, at least in part, of personal data.
me just the idea of \u200b\u200b'use' the teachers as an additional "information channel" and certainly it will test its feasibility.
suggest also subscribe to the newsletter of this blog and what is on the site of the academy: These channels do not yet have an adequate system of efficiency but, ultimately, will be two important resources.
The same site of the conservatory, then, despite all its shortcomings, is a source of information "official" than to hand over records, etc. to the circulars.
When it was decided to increase taxes on Board took the request for a rescheduling their way to university but it was rejected: the urgency of addressing other issues made it impossible for a thorough discussion of the issue, which was dismissed rather quickly with reasons that seemed to me unconvincing.
I recently urged the new Director on this subject, asked in a loud voice from the students, being well aware of the problem, when unavoidable, which makes it impossible practicality, today, such a measure: a Unlike our university conservatory does not have a legal department, which means that the occurrence of any problems related to non-payment, you contact the Bar of the state and this, unfortunately, takes into account very low events of such minor, with the result that, often, the academy lost, so to speak, 'a table' cause that would otherwise win. I would add that this assessment is not merely hypothetical, but based on experience: Years ago there was this possibility and the outcome, with great harm to the accounts of the conservatory, and then for the students, was a failure. Our institution does not handle large sums up the shortfall and even a few thousand euro, and most mid-year with all the programs undertaken and their costs, can be a problem is not insignificant.
On the other hand something to be done, perhaps not the perfect solution but the convention that the academy has signed with Deutsche Bank allows students to receive loans at highly subsidized interest rates - the director spoke about € 30 a year -, and in this regard, I invite If you are interested to go to office to check this opportunity and perhaps, after having done so, tell us about their experience.
The second session is aimed at increasing the fees proposed to cater for the changing needs of the conservatory, emerged as a result of ministerial terrible cuts in an exceptional way, ie by applying a stress to students and families only for the academic year 2010/2011. In the discussion that followed was put before political considerations and administrative transparency that if, on the one hand, did not convince me much, on the other, led the rest of the council to shelve the proposal.
The idea to help families with multiple children enrolled at the conservatory is certainly feasible, even if the ISEE already takes into account the number of members of the household. I will take it anyway because the council is called to vote.
The last two comments and the first in the final part of a concern more 'political': it was right to react this way to cut ministerial? There were no other solutions?
was preferable to reduce services, ie no / less concerts, orchestra, choir and seminars, but also and above all, considering that these things are not the most onerous part of the budget, cut the number of seats available in classes than it had to be done, because that is where the biggest cost? Choices are ...
I have my own idea about this course, but the real point is this: if I'm going to tell the manager that "students and their families do not want tax increases" specially convened meeting and then he checks the total indifference to the problem, well, that force has my action? If the second meeting it is the same idea that you can do? If even once all have "discovered" the matter at the time of (re) registration of almost anyone or express their dissent, even during a meeting packed with parents and students (the one that occurred on October 11) as a conclusion can be drawn? The answer is obvious ...
Imagine how it would be different if I went on Board with a request for tax cuts signed by 200 students with their families, which forces such a request would be spectacular!
E 'a discourse old, hackneyed, "unity is strength", the usual menate, say ... I realize this but the fact of being a cliché does not make it any less true ...
The consultation represents the students, but students must also "will" that represent them please!
Let us know your views, your suggestions, your ideas, you will give them a real chance of achieving and us encouragement and strength to carry them out!
